Yeah, its right at the front. It comes from the like that goes from the VC to the throttle body. Here's a pic...horrible looking but it is the best I've got.

Best I can tell from the pic, that doesn't look like foaming oil. That looks like oil when mixed with water....like rowdy is saying.

I still haven't done it yet. I was too busy doing some mudding...lol. I am surprised how much I can go through with a 2wd. Some people really bash 2wds at my school and always dare me to go through stuff...I haven't got stuck yet

Alright. I smelled it and it seems kind of sweet. Can't say it has a strong gas smell but maybe a little. I did not taste it though as I already have a sore throat. I don't think it is either gas nor coolant. I did drain some of my oil and I am going out to see if that bird took a shIIt in my intake...lol. Damn birds!

Sweet? Come on, man. You have a blown headgasket. Coolant is the only thing that would even remotely smell sweet. Unless, the birds have been eating cookies again?....
Did you drain any oil, yet? Look in your oil filter, too.

Just a thought a friend of mine had a 22RE 4runner with surging issues turned out it was the thermostat staying closed as a result the temp sensor was giving incorrect readings and messing up the ecm. worked for him just a thought

I am not sure if I am loosing coolant or not. Maybe my reservoir is leaking.
Is there a for sure way to tell if I have on or not?

Generally, the best way to tell if you're losing coolant is if the radiator is low, but sometimes if you put your arms around the truck and quietly and sweetly ask,"My darling, what is ailing you so?"....the truck will tell you. People don't believe me, but it's true. I have a very close, intimate relationship with mine. I stroke her fender....she purrs.

I checked the oil a couple days ago. It was black as could be. 500 miles and it is black (I did put a additive to fix my compression and it is working on that one cylinder!!!). I did just change my oil (500 miles ago) and it was black. It was not any green/brown...just dark black. I know what coolant looks like in oil (for example my car)...

I know what it looks like to have a blown head gasket...and I have no signs of it. I'm not losing coolant out of the radiator (it is always full) but I find myself filling up the resevior. I've done it twice.
I did take the Auxiliary Air Valve off and I have it sitting on my work bench. I don't know if I can check it or take it apart. Thanks

Well, not entirely sure. It started when I bought my truck. Ran great. Nothing wrong with it. So, I bought a tach and immediately after I installed it I wanted to see what it had. So, I tried to get it to redline. And at 4700-5k it acted like a rev limiter. Took the VC off and I could stick my finger in between the rocker/valve...so I thought the valve was stuck. So, took my head off to fix it and it wasn't stuck. I bought rings and everything to take that piston out but decided not to. I put it back together and now I am having idling problems.
The compression of my cylinder was 40. I put seafoam in and it raised it to 48 or so. Then I put ARX in and it raised it to 62/63. It's coming up, but slowly.
I can't tell you exactly whats going on with it. I was thinking an excessive amount of sludge in the ring packs. All I can say is this engine has taking A LOT of abuse from me in the past months. Red line a lot, rev limiter for 30 seconds. Shift at 6k in second. Down shift to 2nd doing 55-60 and then a loud pop and blue smoke...I thought it was toast but it still runs!...lol
