a/f ratios... too rich?

just put a manual boost controller on my truck, working pretty good but figured i should ask some questions about my a/f....

my wideband always would read 14.5-15 at idle and 14 under normal load, and at 3psi would drop to 12:1 and drop to 11:1 at 6psi...
under heavy throttle and max boost (6psi) it would go to below 10:1 with the red warning light flashing

now for the past week or so it seems to be running leaner, 16-17:1 at idle and around 14.7:1 whenever in gear and driving dropping to 14 every now and then (its been 30-50* out the past week so i figured the denser air was to account of this)

so I put on the boost controller 2 days ago and it goes straight to 6psi under any boost and drops to 11.5:1 and is within the safe zone until it maxes out at 9-10:1psi when it drops to below 10:1 afr again

so my question.. is it ok to be this lean at idle? sometimes when driving it sits at 15.3ish too
and under heavy throttle is it ok to be running that rich? my wideband only goes from 10:1-20:1 so when its really rich i cant tell how rich

THANKS!
