I have the LCE full exhaust (headder, cat, and back). I like it. Yes it was expensive. It did make a power improvement. With the cat on it's pretty quiet up to 3500rpms. Without the cat, it is noisy. I bought it because I wanted the stainless steel because all the mudding I did had wreaked havoc on my steel exhaust.

ive got everything stock to the muffler, and after that iv had it all replaced. my stock muf had a hole in it, and i got tired of my exhaust blowing up dirt outside my door. lol. so i went to a shop and had a thrush glasspipe and new tailpipe bought and installed for 90 bucks. it sounds pretty sweet, a little bit of rice sometimes, but its deeper and can get loud if u nail it and hold it, but rly if u play it chill its not way loud. i like it. wouldnt say my performance changed much. added a couple of horses, but took some torque, so my off the line and low rpm power is alightly lower cause its goin straight through, but my high rpms are stronger than ever.

i was at meineke, getting work done on another vehicle, and he told me for a cat back with a flowmaster and 2.25in piping would be around 200, i about ÅÅÅÅ my pants, it is too easy the only thing i need done is the 2.25 piping bent up like stock so i figure it will only cost me about 100 with a flowmaster, plus i dont use a tip i just dump it after the muffler.

Cool thanks everyone. Jusfloorit the LCE header seems to be the best bang for the buck, stainless and ceramic coated for about $360.00. I already have the cat, muffler and tip, thanks to my loving wife. She bought them for me. I don't have the money for the header now. So I'll hold off until I get it or the exhaust system fails completely (IE falls off and drags)

Oh yeah bad brains sorry to highjack your thread, but I kinda had the same questions though. Hope this hepled you.

That's the going rate for an install with muffler and piping around here.

I'm just gonna buy exhaust pipeing from the local parts hole and put mine together then hit it with some high temp paint.

the Downey stuff is typical high quality at premium prices. Performance and durability wise you will not be lacking with their products.. They just don't lend themselves to "budget" build ups.

I am very impressed with the performance and quality, and the service before and after the sale were unparalleled.
