Exhaust/Backpressure question

Hi there im looking to change up my exhaust a lil bit and have some questions. I currently have a magnaflow cat and thrush glasspack on there it sounds good but i want it louder. I have been looking at the Cherry Bomb 8 inch glasspack but was wondering if i would lose a bunch of backpressure. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Most glasspacks introduce minimal backpressure so since you already have one in there, simply replacing it with a shorter one than you have should make it louder without significantly affecting whatever backpressure you have. And the farther away from the engine it is, the less likely it is to burn out. You might even look into a 6" pack and Monza type tip for some resonance.

Why? I'm reminded of a little boy in my childhood that put a couple cards in the spokes of his bicycle so it would sound like a motorcycle.

you knew I was gonna chime in to this haha turbo style muffler with a nice tip... thats my vote... glasspacks seem kinda meh, plus they wear out. just get a chamered muffler from flowmaster or jones. hella a cherry bomb would work too.

For the most part, back pressure is not a good thing, esp not if you have a turbo.
