You should be able to use that muffler and run the pipes like you want to but if the pipes coming out are 2.5" or bigger you may lose low end torque but you should see an increase in the upper end.

Have you heard what this muffler sounds like?

Your best bet would be to just get a single 2.5" inlet and a single 2.5" outlet muffler that flows really well.

i still have the 3.0 exhaust on the veichle so i should gain some performance. its a glass pack designed muffler so its goin to flow great. also ive thought about blocking one of the tubes which i dont think will matter.

i would keep both tubes on.
it will sound amazing with the 3.4

you shouldnt lose any power at all since the pipr before the muffler is smaller.

i would do the 2.5 as you mentioned, high flow cat, and i like your idea of dumping the duals before the wheel.

I had a flowmaster 40 series and 2.5 duals ran out the corners on my '90 3.0. It was one in and two out just like what you have there. Sounded great. You will like it.

pipe size in the headers (manifolds) is relevent to torque. you should lose some backpressure if it's an aftermarket muffler, but that might give it an unnoticable amount of top end. if it's too loud, it'll sound like ▓▓▓▓ (v6's fault)
