emergency steering question
ok so i was driving my truck and sheered all the teeth off of my pinion
now i have all the stuff for a sas and perfect excuse to do it... now for the question what do i need to do in order to make my stock ifs box to work with the solid axle any help would be appreciated
p.s. its only a emergancy because i need to get my truck up and running decently quick

I'm guessing your truck is currently 2wd since you gave absolutely no info and thats whats in your avatar.
If you are trying to use a 2wd steering box. Don't. Go get a 4wd box.
If you are trying to use a 2wd steering box. Don't. Go get a 4wd box.

I would start with searching about installing SAS kits and particularly high steer. Numerous threads with pictures. Dropzone has a good thread on useful stuff bookmarked.
SFA box pushes front to back.
IFS box pushes side to side.
Not even remotely the same creatures.
You need an IFS style box to run high steer.
Frame mounting kit.
High steer.
Power steering obviously.
