Electronic rust prevention?

I've heard mixed reviews. Anyone have some first hand experience with this? I remember horsepower tv or a show like it featured it and I have always wondered. Here is a link to what I am talking about. http://www.ruststopnorthamerica.com/

i don't understand...electricity encourages rust? Using less noble metals as a sacrifice has been a proven method for a long time (since back in the days of copper bottom boats). The same technique is used in buildings such as the sydney opera house where sea water is used for cooling. TBH, it sounds like a scam....It just has that 'try it, it really works' feel'. Looks identical to advertisments for bolt in fuel MPG devices.

Look up 'oxidation' and 'electrolysis'.
