EFI fuse
I was wondering what the EFI fuse in my fuse box under the hood actually is for. One of my friends told me it was for my fuel pump but im not sure. If I wiggle it back and forth and up and down i can get a solenoid or something to click every once in awhile. What is doing this clicking?? When i go to my friends truck and turn on his key all i have to do is pull out the fuse and put it back in and it clicks. I tried cleaning my fuse connections with an emory board and I pushed the contacts for the fuse towards each other to make sure I was getting a good connection, but still I have no luck. do i need to replace my whole fuse box? thanks in advance.....

its for your EFI...hence the EFI fuse. It supplies power to the EFI system from the battery.
Try cleaning the fuse, and the contacts again, and really well. Chances are its all corroded. btw the clicking you are hearing is the EFI Relay in the fuse block.

if he only wrapped ONE blade of the fuse with new metal, that won't harm anything. the fuse will still blow if there is a problem. now if he bridged the two blades with metal then yes, that would harm it.
