300 miles on a tank? that's up there with my 22re.
... of course, tank size makes a difference.

Haha i know i love it!!! i got the 92 3.0 with a bad motor for 700bucks a few years back and didn't have yotatech to suggest the 3.4 swap so i put in a reman 3.0 and 22,000 later it blows the headgasket. I wish i swapped in the 3.4 from the start. so far 1000 miles no cel no problems. I LOVE YOTATECH!!!

that's what I was implying... sort of... leaving LA and going up I5 / Grapevine, I can get 350 miles on a 17.5 gallon tank... imagine the miles if the ground was flat and not a 6% grade?

wow that's impressive! i have had my 4x4 for the last three months. the first thing i did was changed out the stock cluster for the Sr5 cluster so i could have the tripometer, tac etc... i filled up last monday and filled up last night. i hit about 230 to the tank. Which i think is around 17gals. maybe it's time for a tune up.

My last tank on the highway was 465 kms (290 miles) on 55 liters (14.5 US gallons), fully loaded with 4 people, luggage, 33" tires and mountain grades (Rockies).

Okay so truly looks like i need to start saving money for the 5VZFE SWAP, that's all there is to it. Besides the long block and wiring harness, what else will i need? Does the 5vzfe bolt up to the current transmission. Major fab work need to be done as well?
