Duracool, anyone make the switch?

If you're having problems with your a/c, try searching the forum for a solution. If that doesn't work, start a thread and describe your problem.
Good luck!

You said the other two vehicles that you refitted had the gas leak naturally. Doesn't this mean that there is a leak in the systems somewhere that needs to be plugged? The reason I ask is I have a 90 22re pickup that I'd like to do this to and there is nothing in the check glass for the A/C after running it for a while.

Beware DURACOOL
I lost $100 with Duracool because the supplied adapters don't contain a schrader valve as described, my coolant slowly leaked out with just the cap. I believe I was lucky my car didn't blow up on fire. I'm just out the $100.
The kit cost me $100 with cheap guages, coolant and "adapters".
I will be taking them and Walmart to small claims court.
Check the link below, the adapter #DC0095 states schrader, but is no schrader valve to stop the refrigerant from escaping, just a bypass pin. They confirm this miss-information by phone and address this miss-information with a WHO'S ON 1ST type answer, very bizarre, not funny at all. The web page remains uncorrected.
