Downey Header bolts question

I'm putting Downey headers on my 3.4 swap and the headers came with bolts that they say to use instead of the stock exhaust studs. Does anyone have any reccomendations or know if it makes a difference? I've got the motor in the 4runner and can't wait to get it fired up. Just a few more things to go.

Use the bolts or the studs.Although the studs may be too long.
