LOL - actually in that case it was morning and I was hung over!

My wife's Sienna will shut the lights off after a few minutes if you leave them on. My old Subaru wouldn't leave the headlights on with the key off. Which is how it should be - I've never figured out why you would want to have your headlights blasting without the key in the ignition.....it won't let you listen to the dang stereo like that which would be more useful.....but I digress....

one more thing to try, the rear door is on its own light swtich aswell, check that switch out. I dont think there is a switch to turn it on/door or off. maybe the bulb burned out in the back, and the switch is bad and you just dont know it.

Just a thought anyways.
