Does not fit models with automatic transmission

Why do i always have the odd stuff. I have a 91 truck with auto trans and can not find a 1"-3" lift kit anywhere as it always says "Does not fit models with automatic transmission"

Does anyone know if anyone, anywhere makes something to work?

Its because the shift linkage will be to short if you do a body lift, if you were able to custom fab some new shift linkage then you could do a body lift.

Thanks you, i could never find anyone that offered kits for autos. Has anyone used their 2" kits on an auto?

I have a 1990 ext cab yota with an auto and the 4crawler 3inch body lift.I love it,however it was a little time consuming but otherwise.Read through 4crawlers site he will tell you what all you need for your body lift and ill post up what all I needed to do mine.

I needed:
3 inch radiator drop brackets
Steering extension
Automatic shift linkage
Bumper brackets
I also bought the heavy duty hardware and new body mount bushings but they wasn't needed.

Good luck to you.

Thanks for the info. I have factory bumpers and a trailer hitch (curt if i remember correctly) Will the hitch need modification as well?

I use this truck for towing and can not loose the hitch.

if you are talking about a hitch that is attached to the frame no you won't need any modifications however it will no longer sit right below the truck.
