the truck is now safely back in the garage awaiting the 1UZ that will be on it's way shortly. There will be a huge write-up.

congrats on the GTi!! I've got a 96 VR6 as a DD. It surprised me how fun that car really is. Although, I had to admit, my track car is an s2000. And there aren't many funner cars for the $$$.

Let me know if you need any help with the GTi. I've had to do quite a bit of 'restoring' to get mine into DD shape

just so you can visualize the wrist pin better it holds the piston to the rod, while allowing it to twist




good luck with the motor swap, i've spent over two years on mine but its alot of fun and you learn alot
