dazed and confused

I changed my motor mount and now my 95 4runner won't stay running. At first it wouldn't start but if I keep the rpms at 2000 or above it runs but chugs and dies if I take my foot off the gas. Was running good before this. Please help!!!!

was the mount on the side that has the air filter and intake? make sure all those connections are tight.

generally speaking, did you have to disconnect anything to replace the mount? that would be the area to check first. think, distributor, plug wires, air filter, etc.

Is the ground for the ECU loose if you changed the right side mount

sounds like a vacuum lean, particularly in the crankcase/valve cover area.

After filling oil once i left the oil cap off and the symptoms were exactly what you just described. I freaked out for a brief 1.5 seconds and then saw the oil cap. lol
