Dashboard clock question
'93 4WD,3.0 normal cab "Truck"
My truck has no built in clock. I see on ebay and other sites an OEM digital clock being offered. Can my truck take this clock? If so,how to do it?
Thanks.

I have no idea what the dashboard on a "normal" cab truck looks like. Does it have the right-sized cutout for the clock?
You'll also need the wiring harness, but I've heard that's installed on "all" trucks, with or w/o the clock. Look for a 4-pin connector with W-B, L-Y (that's bLue-Yellow), G, and GR-R (GRay-Red) leads.
I like my clock and I'm glad I have it, but gee, wouldn't you be happier with something like or ?

Search for "clock" in this post. https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f109...f-sale-262855/ It includes pictures showing where the clock goes in 1st gen and 2d gen (yours). (next to the A/C switch)

The clocks are a drop in item. The wiring is all present in the base model trucks. Simply knock out the cutout in the heater panel. Screw the clock in from the back into the center dash panel, and hook up the blue plug to the clock and your in business. You will need to take off some dash panels to do it.
I did this in my pickup and all I needed was the clock and two mounting screws. It's nice having the OEM clock in the truck. I did the full SR5 conversion to mine minus the A/C (slowly working on this).
If you have any questions shoot me a PM. I see clocks all the time when I am out at the yards and have a few laying around so if you can't find a clock let me know. eBay is always a good option too.

Clocks from 84-94 all look the same on the out side but they do have different mounting points behind the trim cover. Make sure you get clock for 89-94. Like mentioned, knockout the tab and the wiring is usually taped to the main harness. It is a square 4 pin plug.

with the help of members here I was able to remove the AC panel. While I do not have the clock yet,my question is ' How is the clock mounted? I see photo's for mounting the clock. of it showing two "ears" that would hold screws.Where do the screws go?
