I made some custom door panels out of fiber glass for my 1991 toyota 4 runner. I used a cardbord template for the part that goes on the door. I made the frame out of 3/4 inch MDF bord cut streched a cheap piece of white T- shirt over the frame to get the conture that i wanted. then i put a coat of resin on. after that hardend some fiberglass mat with a lot of resin. then started sanding. . . . and came up with somthing like the lower panel in this picture.
the top panel has a coat of duplacolor truck bed liner on it. after a lot of sanding and a little paint, i got this. . .
way better than my stock dash speakers.

 

awesome job!! I want to redo mine in fiberglass as well, just something like yours but not the length of my door, here is some i did waaaaay back over 10 years ago before all this fiberglass stuff now, lol
