crashed my truck last night, help?

so i hydroplaned off the road and into some mud in between the road and and almond orchard. once in the mud my brakes and steering were useless, so i use a tree to slow me down. i took the whole thing out of the ground, pwnd. if it weren't for my one-time-use brush guard my ride would be totalled.

Minor Damage: hood, left front headlight, grille, bumper. IF ANYONE HAS THESE PARTS FOR CHEAP LET ME KNOW

Major Damage: core support is bent in a little on the driver's side, may be straighten-able. i also bent and cracked on of the hard lines that runs to what i believe to be the accumulator (not sure if i can replace the line without a new/straight core support).

Thanks for any help, Pics to follow as soon as the camera has batteries!
-Andrew

hope you're alright. Have you spoken to any wreckers. I bet if you go there with a wad of cash, you'll be able to get all the parts you need.

competely taking the front end apart (lights, bumpers, cosmetics, etc.), taking out the radiator (duh!), misc. items that are bolted the front, take off all the wiring running along it.

Cut out the entire support because it is welded in. then weld in a new one and make sure it is perfectly square when you weld it in.

Reassemble.

I guess that would be all that you would have to do.

I've got a 22re, but it wouldn't be that tough on my truck I don't think. Might take part of a weekend to do that whole thing.

I believe there is a very big Toyota only wrecking yard here down the hill. I believe it is in Antelope specifically. Sorry, it's not much information, but I don't quite know specifics, someone else might though...

there are a couple in Rancho Cordova.
you can search the forums on yotatech for "rancho cordova" and this one comes up:

I've been there, they have a decent selection of yotas spanning a few years.

I'd say claim it on your insurance and buy another one.

i'd like to.....but i don't have insurance to cover that...only liability

---sorry about the lack of pics, can't get my camera to work....might use my cell phone....

realistically the damage is minimal, so i might just try to pull the core support back out as much as possible.

thanks everyone!
