crankshaft seal /crankshaft bolt-pully removal
Is the bolt that holds the crankshaft pulley on to the crankshaft of a 1994 toyota pickup (22-RE) reverse threaded or not?????????????

put a 19mm socket on it with a breaker bar, and put the bar so it's just under the passenger side of the frame. disconnect the coil wire, and bump the starter.

When doing the breaker bar trick like kyle mentioned, you may have to put a little space between the bar and the frame. When I placed the bar right next to the frame and turned the motor, the starter didn't have enough torque to break the bolt loose!
So if you run into that problem, the space between the frame and bar will be that little bit of extra force you need.
BTW, be sure your fuel system is closed or disconnected before turning the engine over.
