Crank Shaft Key
The Key on the crank shaft that my pulley slides over is missing, must have come off when I had the crank cleaned up. I know I can get one from the dealer, but how do I put it on? Do I just hammer it in or use a c clamp to press it in? Any info from someone who knows would be appreciated. Thanks

TAp it in lightly with something that won't dent it, like brass or teflon. Then slide the harmonic balancer back on and bolt in. If it takes more than that to get it in, then I would look at it very closely. Should be a machined fit in a way.

Remember: it's a woodruff key, meaning that it's a half-moon shape. As toyotabull clearly stated, the key goes in first, then the harmonic balancer slides on easily. Don't try to put the key in after the balancer is on.
