cracked dash

what should i do about these ugly cracks??
i was thinking maybe a thin layer of bondo? or something. maybe undoing the pad from the metal support and making a fiberglass copy of it??

what have you other guys done about your cracked dash?? any help would be great. and sorry if i didnt search to hard. (i wanted to show my pix. lol)

buying a new dash pad would most likely be the best idea

That dash pad is in real bad shape, you might try looking for another one thats in better condition.

mine is cracked and dried kind of like yours. i was thinking of going the the fabric store and get some felt to veneer over it.

i remember someone had fiberglass molds, but i cant remember who, maybe it was toyotafiberglass, but im not possitive!

my 92 dash is cracked, I just bought a gray dash cover to throw over it. heh

wasnt them. i click every link on that website. lol..

and yes. i figured id have to replace. i think im gna make a total custom one by follwing some directions from the12volt.com

How about getting it re-covered, perhaps at a (competent) leather shop?

My 4Runner dash is in good shape but my RX-7s dash is all turn up like that. I've often wondered if a leather shop could re-foam and glue leather down on it.

You can always try asking Green Truck to make you one..

I know what you mean! In the spring, I want to repaint my truck, but I can't bring myself to fix all the dents first!

A MY DASH IS ALSO CRACKED IN MY 91 ive yet to find a way to repair it im damm goog at body work but it seems theres a soft sponge under the vinyl fiberglass wont work .
wonder if the dealer still sells new ones???
