coolant everywhere, help please.

i just did my battery intake swap and adjusted my timing. upon startup, everything ran great until i turned off the truck and noticed coolant leaking everywhere. all of my hoses are good and it looks like it is coming from somewhere in the radiator. i took off the fan shroud to put the engine at top dead center and initially i thought that i might have put one of the bolts too deep and punctured the radiator, but it appears that isn't the case. does anyone have any ideas? did my radiator blow up or what?

You could get a cooling system pressure tester and pump up the pressure in the system to force coolant to leak out and it'll be easier to find with the engine off.

well, the coolant was definately coming from the radiator area. i drained it an pulled it out, and it isn't milky from waht i can tell. i filled it back up and drove around the block for 20 minutes or so. now it is not leaking at all and i'm just plain confused. is is possible that i overfilled it previously?

interesting

i wonder if a combination of a very full radiator and some air in the cooling system just caused a failure at pressure for the radiator, because i refilled it and attempted to get the air out and it hasn't happened since.
