Coolant Everywhere!

Cebby's 4runner had a headgasket leak in the back of his 3.0. Sometimes they leak externally. https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f2/10-years-140k-miles-first-stranding-53317/

This sounds similar to the problem I'm having. I know I'm losing coolant from this same area. It's not leaking enough to hit the ground, but it's ending up on some part of the exhaust because once the engine warms up it the spillage gets cooked. I'm having trouble locating the leak though.
How were you able to determine the exact location of this leak?

I had my friend drive around the block, and then park and pop the hood with the truck still running, I started looking around the area that I suspected the leakage and had him rev it up a little thats when i noticed the coolant flowing out.

There are heater hoses on top of the engine behind the plenum and also a little u-shaped hose that is a PITA to get you; you practically have to remove the plenum, but I've heard some folks were able to change it out without removing anything...good luck!
