Continuing 22R problems

Hi y'all, got an '87 22R carbed truck 4spd having a few problems. I had idle problems where the truck would start but immediately stop. I replaced fuel pump and filter, dist cap and rotor, plugs and wires, and got the idle dialed in. Now, the truck has a bit of a consistent miss at idle and lurches/hesitates BADLY when warm. It will run better when warm, but still "runs like crap." I've had what I think are choke issues in the past where the truck will stumble and accelerate poorly when cold. I've checked for vaccum leaks and haven't found any. So I dunno what to think, I've sprayed carb cleaner around the carb/choke and intake to no avail. So, what could it be? Incorrectly gapped plugs, bad coil, slipped timing gear? Thanks for any help!

Sure haven't. It's one of many things I'm gonna check (or re-check) tomorrow.

Ok, checked and adjusted timing. It was a bit retarded. Truck seems to idle a little smoother now, but still sounds like it's missing out some. I haven't driven it yet since the adjustment...

Check the valve adjustments too. Those can make a big difference. .008 Intake/.012 Exhaust (hot)
