Compatibility of fan brackets

My fan bracket is going bad, and I have a replacement (used) Toyota unit, but I am unsure if it's compatible.

My truck is an '89 4Runner with the 3.0 v6, but I have the spring-loaded tensioner version on my early year v6. The newer engine has the hydraulic tensioner version, and both fan brackets are slightly different. The replacement unit I have is from the newer v6.

Does anyone know for sure if they are interchangeable? I don't want to through the trouble of removing mine just for it not to fit.

I am not formiliar with the hydraulic version but I ASSUME that you can tap the oil hole in the block and plug it.
Then use the non hydraulic version.

Anyone else have info on this.....

It's the bracket that holds the fan and drive belts pulleys.
