code 14 what is it?

It means 'a loss of IGF signal between the ignitor and the computer for 6 events'. In other words, the computer expected a signal that the plugs were firing but couldn't tell they did 'fire' or 'spark' for 3 rotations of the crank (6 spark events). More importantly, it means that the computer, for whatever reason, did not detect a proper 'spark' and 'combustion' event for a long enough period of time to signal a serious problem.
Most likely, it is the ignitor (the black box on the ignition coil) but could also be the wiring from the ignitor to the ECU or the ECU itself.
Are you experiencing any engine performance issues?

Maybe I should back up a little and ask if the check engine light has come on at all recently?
It's possible that the code was triggered a while ago but hasn't happened since and is only showing up because the codes are stored.

check engine light came on a few months back. It was a code 71 egr. No this code was a stored code that I pulled after taking a drive. Just was curious to see if there was any stored codes.

Truck also dosent like to start after it gets hot. I have to crank it then wait the crank it again. It usually takes a little to get it fired. WHEN HOT. Fires right up when its cold.

If it's a 'stored code' as you say, I wouldn't worry about it. Like I said, it basically meant that the computer didn't detect spark plugs firing for a few engine revolutions. That is totaly unrelated to what you're experiencing now.
Hot start problems with fuel injected vehicles are usually related to fuel pressure regulators and check valves.
