Clutch issues.
Alright so I had my truck stolen the other week and recoerd a few hours later. One of the things that got all f`ed up was the clutch. I still got it to take pix but camera is down. So any ways, I replaced the clutch and now I am having issues with it and really dont feel like droping the tranny again. At first it was a rattle , like my throw out berring was lose or something. I figured it was my drieshaft cuss it also vibrartes at lower speeds (15-25). My yokes are pretty shot, I can install my u-joints by hand, no presses nothing. So like I said figured it was my driveshaft, didnt have it in there ballanced. Now for the part that started to worry me. When I put it up aganst a small dirt hill climb it sounds like my tires are spinning but its coming from the clutch im pretty damn sure. What did this guy do to my brand new clutch? did you put any miles on this clutch before abusing it? or is it brand new and you went out trying to dump the clutch up hills??
what size tire?
what gears?
what motor?

Nah put a good 150miles on it befor taking it into the dirt. 33x12.5 /4.88/22re. Even the stuff I took it through isnt like hella nasty just a quick 1 minut drive out to the beach down a small dirt patch w/coupple of hills. The rattling sound happend like a few miles of driving it. The other sound just happend then I took it home.

did you read that he replaced the clutch you tard... you should bang your own head against the wall assclown..

you are prob going to have to drop the trans to see what that noise is..
you can try to isolate exactly where the noise is coming from and then go from there. might be something loose. also the slipping i'm not sure you will prob have to drop the trans and see if the disc is glazed..
def get the U- joints fixed before they let go and you end up with a driveshaft thru the floor....

New clutch installed. When I bought the truck.
Used to rattle but got rid of it somehow ( why I think its the driveshaft)

New clutch strange noises.
Like it sounds like tires skipping on the dirt kinda. like if your locker was on and your taking a tight turn. IDK how elce to explaine it.

since you say it does it 2 & 4wd, if the hubs are locked it could be joints on the front axle, front differential or the front driveshaft... if the hubs aren't locked, that rules out a lot of the front end except maybe wheel bearings.
if they were hard enough on it to destroy the clutch in that period of time, it's possible the trans is on the way out. unfortunately, you won't know until you eliminate the other issues you may have like the u-joints, rear wheel bearings, etc.
If you know somewhere you can take it that will let you put it on rollers (dyno) then that might make it easier to locate the issue. you could leave it in 2wd and put the rear on the dyno and see if you can locate the noise and if that's inconclusive, you can drop the rear driveshaft and put it in 4wd with the front wheels on the dyno.
and thinking about it even more, there may be an issue with the engine internals like valves or something that were damaged during their escapades.
