Clinometer Installation Help

I am not sure if this is the correct place to post this, but I need help...

Yesterday my Clinometer was delivered that I purchased off eBay... I was planning on installing it but when I tried to fit it this morning, it didn't seem like my dash was correct...

HELP?

Have several pictures of the meters installed and none of them look like mine.
I saw this one:

And This one:

But when I try and test fit mine it looks like this:

Was there a different dash for 1989?

your dash looks like mine and I have an '86. Maybe the dash is different in an SR5 model and DLX?

Maybe... I haven't found anything yet to tell me it is...

Dunno what I should do... I don't want that gap.

Maybe I can find a grey dash somewhere

The 89 Pickups had a different dash. Was it off of an american market truck? Foreign markets they were available up to 96 which was a different dash style completely

*edited. Maybe its for a right hand drive truck.

I had to slightly trim the bottom of the cover for the one i purchased... the fit wasn't as off as yours but a little... seemed to be the simplest solution...

I think you have a Toyota Tercel wagon inclinometer.

this is driving me crazy... I have seen two different dashes, one with a long tray and one with a short.

Looks like the meter I have is for a long tray.

I'll try and mod it to fit the short, Hope it looks ok... Think the holes will still line up?

Where can I get a new dash?
