Changed knock wire won't run!

Please help me boys Changed knock sensor wire in my 91 truck 3zve and now it won't run it rolls about ten times fires and quits within seconds. Checked fuel pump, wires, conections three nights of insanity before i remembered this site wich helped me with my engine change last year thank you for that! so any help would be appreciated

did you put it back together right.... sounds like maybe when you did that you may have forgotten or messed up the intake manifold gaskets..... if they are leaking it does this.... all lines hooked up.... wires in right places.....? Check engine light? If so get codes....

Losing the knock sensor will throw a code, but I don't think it will prevent you from starting.

As TNRabbit hints: you need to take a deep breath and think systematically. Fuel, air, spark: what are you missing?

what is the VAFM and where is it located? Gaskets should be good only go on one way?

Can you take some pictures of the engine compartment and post them here.
Maybe 3 or 4 from diffrent angles.
Maybe we might be able to see something wrong, just maybe.

Changed intake and messed with timing finally got it with no engine codes wa ho! thanks everybody!
