Celica Seats

Hey... I've got a 91 4x4 truck with the Teflon (vinyl) bench seat. A friend of mine has some nicely bolstered seats from a 93 Celica. Anyone have any experience fitting Celica seats into their truck? I'm sure I can make some kind of bracket to get them to fit, but since I don't have the seats right in front of me, I'm wondering if this is something that's been done before and how much fabricating am I looking at...

If the Celica seat guides are level one with the other it's easy.

You need to do two pieces like this:

Sorry, my Paint skills are poor and I'm at work and have no scanner.

Just ground down the Celica seat guides and weld the brackets you've made. If they don't line up just center the Celica guides in your brackets.

I put Recaro seats out of an Opel in my 4Runner hehehe

That's what I'm picturing, based on my buddy's description of the Celica seats..
