cat converter gasket

ive done the sas finally on my 94 runner w 3.0 and auto trans.now i want to turn my cat so that its not so visible from the side.i assume they turn it this way to clear the torsion bars.i had it disconnected from the back of the cat and the gasket was kinda oval shaped with 2 holes for the bolts and the big one in the center.autozon and advance have the gaskets in stock but they are both just round gaskets and they seem pretty thick.advance even has a direct replacement cat and the flanges seem the same but the gaskets that come with it are round?????
it doesnt seem to me that these round ones are going to center properly.
your thoughts?
thanks

My '93 has round gaskets there. I wish It had the factory oblong ones, but I havent been able to find any without ordering from somewhere. They are okay to run. They have been on my rig since before I bought it almost 4 years ago. If you feel like it won't be enough, put some high temp silicone on and around it. I did that recently. It stunk like burning rubber in a pile of *doo-doo* but it sealed it pretty nicely.
