Can't start

I have a '93 pickup. The steering arm bolts came loose and tore one of the red middle wire in half, leaving a stub sticking out of the connector. The white and yellow wires were pulled out all the way. I have the red wire fixed and have it put back in the position it came from, however, don't know what sides the yellow and white wires go. I tried both sides and had everything put back together but nothing. Battery is fully charged. I have headlights working, but none of the lights on the dash light up (battery, check engine, ect.). My only idea would be the starter relay, but am not sure. Sorry for the trouble, any help is appreciated. Thanks

The wires were pulled out of the alternator and now it wont start??? Sounds like you have a fuse issue. The alternator has nothing to do with the truck turning over.

And how did the steering arm manage to pull the wires out of the alternator in the first place?
