89' Lower valance

When I bought my truck it had a plastic lower valance and the PO had cut 2 holes in the vents to clear some gay looking fast and furious lights. When I got a new one it was metal and made alot of noise, rusted, and I nailed a deer with it. I need a new valance and I want the plastic one, is there a company or year/model that will work. I've checked with everyone around here and all I get is steel.

The '89 trucks had a different kind of valance than the '89 4Runners did. 4Runners didn't change until the 1990 year for that generation.

Alright I found one on a pickup and waited 3hrs for the owner to come out, he said it came off a runner 92', 93', or 94'. He really wasn't sure just that it came off a runner. Could you runner owners go out and thump your lower valance and see if you have a plastic one and then tell me what year it is so I can look it up and see if it fits or is close?

What kind of 89 do you have, 4runner or Truck? 89 Truck is the new style, 89 4runner is a 1st gen runner. Different valances, but BOTH made of metal. All toyota trucks to 95 used metal valances. 90-91 4Runners used metal valances as well. In 1992, they switched to plastic valances and one piece front bumpers on the 4Runners (90-91 was a 3 piece front bumper). Truck and 4runner bumpers are different after 91.
