Check your ground from the back of the head to the firewall, Most things on the 22re are Ground switched So if the engine isn't grounded right you get all kinds of problems

Do you have Voltage to the connectors? Pull the coil wire off, stick your multimeter into the connector and have someone crank it.

I got 12 Volts on both sides of the connector. Also removed wiring from ECM and had 12 volts coming out of ECM for injecter pulse wire.

its my understanding that if you have voltage on both sides of a connector then you either have a bad switch or a bad ground. Go do some more checking! Get an electrical troubleshooting manual if you can to look at the wire diagrams. Good luck!

Distributor pickup is probebly shot. That is what times the injectors. If you pull the distributor and turn it by hand, with the key turned on, the injectors will fire.

i just finished rebuilding my engine and on my first few attempts to start it i flooded the cylinders with the afm unplugged. once i plugged it back up and checked everything else it still wouldn't even cough. i pulled the plugs and turned the engine over a few times with the ignition and let it air out and when i put the plugs back in it fired right up. just a thought and something simple to try. also, when checking the backside of the computer leave it plugged in. i have a fsm with some great trouble shooting. it helped me get mine running.
