probably - I was able to get another plate that said "3.0L EFI" for the top of my engine. Toyota dealer would be your best bet on that one.

Why would you want the decals? Most of the Toyotas look better without them - alot of folks iintentionally remove them

I think the "zebra stripes" look better than just the plain grey color. Or, maybe I should take the running boards off first and see what kind of look that gives me before applying decals all over the place.

I don't know if this link will work, but if it does, here's a pic of the truck I got off ebay.

Got the alloy wheels coming, but I really think I need to remove the running boards. Also, white letter or blackwall tires should I pick up for it?

Thanks.

Nice Runner. For what its worth IMO I think it would look better with them on. I know I'm in the minority here, but I like mine with 'em on.

body shops should be able to get them if they are OEM. My g/f was really excited when her car was keyed because the Chevy dealer put all sorts of purple vynal stickers on her cavalier.

When it was taking 2 weeks for the body shop to do the repairs we decided to call. They appoligized and said it took them 2 weeks to get the orginal stickers in but dont worry because they just got done putting them on. hehehhe.

Body shops can still get those OEM stickers though.

For the most part they can get em...When I had to get new stripes for my truck there weren't any of the same style/colour in the US or Canada so they had to be ordered from some place in Japan, cost a bunch more and took a long time. So if they don't have em available here I'd look for a diff style or go to a sign/vynal decal place and get some made however you want them to look

Before I go hog wild on decals, I think I am going to jerk those stupid running boards off, mount the original alloy rims (not those pressed pig ÅÅÅÅ rims that are on it now), and get some decent white raised tires for it. Will go from there with it. Thanks.

"OEM" Decals

vmax84,
I found this guy while searching for the "zebra stripes." I haven't ordered them as they are pricey, but hopefully someday I'll get them. Hope this site helps.

For a while there, I was thinking about replacing my '90 stripe with a '95 stripe. The dealership said they couldn't order them and that I had to get them made by a graphics company. Maybe they were just giving me a line....

I ended up taking off the orignal strip and not replacing it. 4Runner looks sooo much better now. Way more clean. If I were you, I'd just take the sripe off and be done with it.

Discontinued Toyota Factory Stripes and Logos

I have some original Toyota stripes from the 80's and 90's that have been discontinued by Toyota. I also have programmed aftermarket reproductions of almost all stripes from '86 on for all models of trucks and 4Runners. These are all printed on oem 3M or Avery High Performance Automotive Grade Vinyl and the clear coated to add print and uv stability. I hope this helps some of you out that are missing sections or restoring your ride to original.
