Can anybody Identify this Transmission?

It's in a 1990 22RE 4x4 (5 speed manual), is it a W56?

Get a pic of the sticker in the door jam. Most likely w56 for 22re and a340X (X varible) for 3vz. according to your signature

could it be the tranny that came with your 7mgte???..i know in a different thread you sai its the stock tranny....but bleeder is right..the slave cylinder should be on the other side...

but if it's the 7mgte tranny..then i dont think the slave would be able to withstand the heat from the exhaust being so hot??

So W56 with a W58 (Mk3 Supra) bellhousing?

I don't have the space to work on the truck long term, but a friend has offered to help me swap the trans if I can source a spare.

Apologies, the builder insisted it was the stock trans from the truck.

hmmm, it may be

from my understanding, the belhousing is swapable

although mine's rather filthy an I don't have a pic to show, it looks the same as the trans under my 91 aft of the bellhousing... but, I could be mistaken...
