Bumper mount specs

Hey all,

I have been looking for a long time to get replacement bumpers on my '95. Unfortunately, pretty much only the 96 and up have plate bumpers (i HATE the tube bumpers). I have found a set made by 4xinnovations for a 96, but I was hoping to see if anybody had specs on just how different the two frames are in relation to mounting points. Or, simply put, Would I be getting into a huge storm by trying to retrofit the 3rd gen's bumpers on a 2nd gen?

Thanks in advance

Do you have a 3rd gen Pickup or 1st gen Tacoma?

I thought Pickups only ran until 1994, may be some model year discrepancies...

If you have a '95 Taco, I think this is the 4xInnovations one you're talking about: http://www.4xinnovations.com/1995-20...per_p_114.html

If you have a 3rd gen Pickup, plate bumper options are more limited. I've been looking around for my 2nd gen Pickup (1986), but the frame mounts are identical on those.

Here's the one I like the best: https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f37/...umpers-217961/

Problem is, Curley only made a limited run back in 2010 and they don't seem to be around any more.

Keep us up to date if you find anything!

I have a 2nd gen 4runner. I actually was able to get into contact with Adam, and he said they are working on a set for my rig now and may have something completed sometime next year. I can wait.
