Talking Built my custom tailgate

When I bought the truck it didn't have a tailgate but one of those bed nets. I liked the open look of it but it sucked so I decided to build my own. It's actually made from an old metal shelf from a store. Pretty decent steel actually. Leave comments either on my photobucket or here and let me know what you guys think. I gave a little description for each picture as I went along.http://s736.photobucket.com/albums/xx9/86yota321/

Hope that link works.

****Note: Thanks to Robb, now you don't have to follow any link. The rest of the pics are below.

Hey Robb, this sounds dumb but could you give me a short step-by-step on putting the image in?

Thanks
Brad

Alright, so let's see here. Next 3 pics are of the pivot point. I work at a garage door company and these are 2 roller stems. You can see where I drilled for them to sit behind the brakelight. In the 3rd pic, I welded a washer to each side of the bottom rail for the roller shaft to sit in.

I think it turned out pretty good. Cost me under $30 to make. The steel was from a rack we were going to throw away at work.

Thanks for all the comments guys. I was pretty stoked about it when I finished it. Although, now I'm thinking that when I paint the TOYOTA 4 X 4 on it, to add some running lights to the bottom or a set of amber and red flush mounts to each side. Work in progress I guess but I'll add more pics as I add to it.
