Code 71 and EGR valve working fine

Code 71 and EGR valve working fine
So everything's coming together. She got a full tune-up, VSS is on the way, and only other thing I have is I'm getting code 71.
I did a vacuum test on the EGR valve and it's supposedly fine (engine ran really groggy and close to dying). I have the repair manual and am going to go through the progression. My question is what is the most typical culprit in this code after you've eliminated the valve as the problem?
