Broken torsion bar

Busted a drivers side torsion bar on my 94 4x4 pickup 22RE. Are the bar on the V6 pickup the same? Looks like the new replacements are splined ends. How difficult is it to get the old splines to separate from the torsion bar end mounts? Any recommendations on suitable replacements? I already have new bolts as I have been meaning to try and raise the front of my truck by tightening the torsion bolts.

pretty sure the v6 bars are bigger for the extra weight of the 6 cyl.

i'd get a matching pair of v6 bars from a salvage yard.
