Breaking into my 4runner

so..i was tightening some stuff on the 4runner and foolin around with it to make SURE that i had a rod knocking (it doesnt sound like my 22r's old rod knock...but theres sthparkly metal shavings in the 4runners oil filter..so yea..lol)

so i had my keys in the ignition...with the doors shut...now the doors weren't locked AT ALL..PERIOD

but i shut the hood...4runner honked once..blinked lights 3 times..and BANGO..my doors locked..

yea the 4runner has an alarm(that i still don't know how it works...)

sooo...if anybody knows how to break into a 2nd gen 4runner or a 3rd gen pickup (since everything is close to the same except for bodies) please post up if you like.....but you'd probably be safer PM'ing me...

i came close by fiddling with the door handle (thats all im saying..it took more than that..lmao)

I've some pretty terribly rigged up wiring in my truck.. On my tailgate, I'm pretty sure I could pull the wiring harness through the gromet in the bottom of the quarter panel.. With my wiring diagram I could send direct 12V to the window to open it..

Power everything? Perhaps you can slide a coat hanger or a straight piece of thin metal stock down from the top of the door and hit the unlock button?

Tow truck companies can usually do it for a small fee.

Or try this:

Ok Rob, I just watched that video, and WTF? I don't believe that would work, it was a shameless ploy to have a video with a chick that looks like the girl from "Scrubs." I do like the chick from Scrubs, so I didn't mind. I also don't have a tennis ball laying around.

So everyone fess up..... Who went outside to find a tennis ball to see if this worked??

I didn't try buy there's no way it would work. I'm betting there's a reason the car had an electronic lock.
