FWIW: bleed like this:

RR, RF, FL, FR, LSPV. That is the proper way starting from the furthest from the m/c in most trucks. I usually do the 2 person brake pedal deal, works better and is easier.

Well I gave up taking it to a shop,
I can't think of anything else to do.
The brakes are pretty scary driving there,
not to good.
I'll tell ya'll what they say tomorow.

I just read this entire thread again and something comes to mind that hasn't been touched on. Whn my front pads get really thin, my pedal goes almost all the way to the floor. Sounds just like your problem. Have you checked your front pads?

they put new rubber brake lines on and it is 99% better than it was.
250$ just for the lines installed, what a rip, hate having shops doing work.

thanks everybody

Well, I kinda sorta called it...

Were they soft or clogged up?

Man the cost... You could have done SS lines for less than that but like TN said, what ya gonna do?

When you need the truck and can't figure t out, you have to do what you have to do...

Yeah, good call, but one of those hard things to find unless you replace 'em all, you know?

I had to take my 2nd Gen into the shop a few weeks ago, which I hate to do, but I don't know squat about AC. Recharged with 3 Can$ of R12, replaced drier and a hose. $700.

I also took my wifes Tahoe in (the same week) for a bad oil leak that I thought was the rear main, and I didn't feel like messing with it. Turned out to be an oil line adapter gasket, cheap fix.

Sometimes it pays to have the pro's diagnose.
