Brake Problem???

MY 86 4Runner is in storage for winter, but I try to start it up at least monthly. So today I start it up and notice the brake light on. I check my fluid level and its low, so I check under the truck and notice fluid leaking down on the inside of my front tires. What would cause this ??? will the fluid hurt the rubber on my tires??? Brakes were new this last summer

you need to find the origin of the leak. Get a buddy to pump the brake pedal after you fill the master cylinder (and put the cap back on!) and see where it is coming from. Check the MC, hard and soft lines and the connections.

No front brakes = not a good car to drive.

Brake fluid won't harm the tires, but that dosen't mean leave it on them.
