Bolt-on Hood Struts for '84-'95 Pickups and 4Runners
I'm posting this to let the YT community know that we at Spiker Engineering now have hood strut kits available for the entire '84-'95 pickup and 4Runner range of trucks, to join our existing lineup of hood struts for the 3rd Gen 4Runner and 1st through 3rd Gen Tacoma.
What's most exciting about the kits for '84-'95 trucks is that we were able to make these kits 100% bolt-on, with no drilling required. That makes installation a breeze, and is completely reversible should you ever decide to remove the struts.
As with all our kits, we use heavy gauge powder coated brackets, black oxide coated stainless steel fasteners, and OEM quality premium hood struts with a 5 year warranty. Our kits are a few bucks more than some alternate vendors, but they are the only ones that can be installed without any drilling or alterations required.

Got everything installed and I’m so excited, I have to say it feels odd to not use the prop…….but it’s smooth as butter and super fun to have struts!!!!!
The kit is worth every penny and I highly recommend it!!!!
