bleeder, you'll wake up one night and the truck will be gone.... When you find her she will be playing in the mud (under her own power) with the other local yota's! so you might as shwelp play with her or she will find someone else to drive her or just do it herself!! haha

well, I came home to a box from MC today

first thing I did was open it up for a test fit, and well, guess what...

I got sent the SAME EXACT pressure plate as the one I sent back that was wrong...

just the pressure plate though; the disc itself was the right one!

not quite sure how you make that mix up, but whatever...

I promptly called up MC, explained what was going on, and he knew right away who I was. He gave me a formal apology, asked me what size shirt I wear, and said he's sending the RIGHT one out today express and I can expect to see it by next Wednesday, and he's also sending a shipping label, so at least I don't have to pay the shipping back to Cali this time

It kinda pisses me off, but at the same time it's not like it's going to set me back too terribly bad, cause it'll be another week before I get me injector's back from getting cleaned

So unfortunately, no pics of the motor in the engine bay this weekend as I originaly promised

Guess I'll just go out on my date tonight, and then take this Sat off just to relax

yeah I hear from different people that some had 4 and some had 6; I guess it depends on where MC is getting them from at the time, lol

Thats just stupid now. I would tell them to overnight it. Even though you dont HAFTA have it, they ARE slowing you down. You'd think after three chances they could get it right.

wow...MC should have overnighted it for mixing it up a 2nd time

Wonder if the shirt reads "I ordered a clutch from Marlin, and all I got was this lousy t-shirt"

I think it's ironic that they're sending a T-shirt so you'll wear it and give them free advertising because they screwed up your order twice in a row.

Oh well, I'm looking forward to progress pics when it gets straightened out.

lol, I have 2 alingment tools now; one from the 1st clutch, and another one with this clutch they just sent

I mean I guess it does upset me that it's wrong AGAIN, but it's not like the truck would have been back on the road after this weekend anyway; it'll be another week, maybe a little more, before it even fires up for the first time. But maybe I'm not all that mad right now because I'm on cloud nine after getting home from an awesome night out with the misses

This whole Marlin thing scares me about ordering my clutch from them monday because that should be the last thing to do before dropping in the new motor this week and I would hate to be waiting for three weeks over something so stupid

when in doubt, call them up and speak to someone personally; I should have never left it up to an internet order I guess

over the phone, the guy seemed VERY knowedgeble about the 22r motors and the clutches they took over years, turbo and non tubro, and so on

I don't look down upon them; I'll still rock their sticker on my rig everyone screws up every once in a while
