Where do you get the bumpstop extensions or whatever? Also what are the correct shocks for a 2.5" rear coil spacer lift? I was going to buy some 3"-4" rear lift shocks but now im second guessing.

well i found some of the kits but nothing for the pick-ups just 4Runners i guess i will just have to get them from 4Crawler. what seems to be the best riding shock for the application

The component that will be damaged will almost certainly be the shock when it finally gives after you hit a sufficiently hard bump. At least lets hope it's the shock, other wise it will be the shock mount and that is harder to fix.

Front Shock Fitment: Rancho 5167, OME #N98, ProComp ES3000 #317514, Skyjacker 8052, Doetsch Tech 3078, 8069, 9069, KYB 565084, Bilstein does not make an appropriate shock for this lift, theirs must be shimmed to fit.

I'll see if I can learn more about the Rough County shock specs.

So I see that there are a lot of great shocks out there to be used with BJ spacers, but what about just good shocks? I found a set of rear shocks by way of a post by one of the guys on this site. I installed OME rear springs and needed longer shocks. He told me to use some spec'd for a '99-06 silverado/1500 4x4, which I found. I got Gabriel Ultra for ~$32. each (pn G63675) at Autozone.... lifetime replacement warranty. After driving the steel bushing out of the eye with a 3 jaw pulley puller, they fit up beautifully. Now I'm planning on BJ spacers and I'd like to get the same brand of shock. What vehicle application will work for a '86 4runner with BJ spacers to get the required 1.5"? Once I know the vehicle, Autozone can match the shock. Any ideas?

If I had read a little further, I would have seen that Hodgepodge79 (who helped me find my rear shocks, thank you VERY much!) also posted that front shocks for a '85-'96 Samurai will work. The Gabriel Ultra are one step up from the Pro Guard and feel real comfy from the one day of street driving I've had since installing them. I'll pick up a set of Samurai shocks when I order my BJ spacers from Frank. Maybe next paycheck if I can put off a house project 'til later.

It's the same part...

Those are the ones I ordered and they fit fine. The UCA is the same on the trucks and the runners.
