I don't know the answer to either of those questions.

But I did find the answer to the first one.

Hardware consists of M8-1.25x80mm class 12.9 socket cap-screws, class 10.9 steel nuts, stainless steel nylon locking nuts, and flat washers.

I know they're M8 bolts with a 1.25 pitch. They need to be class 10.9 or 12.9 (10.9 is roughly the metric equivalent of the standard Grade 8). Don't use anything less when it comes to suspension stuff. As for length, do as MudHippy said: simply add 1.5" to the existing bolt length.

EDIT: Whoops! I need start reading better. Mud Hippy already came back and answered it.

EDIT 2: You might want to consider buying the bolts, nuts, and washers from your nearest ACE Hardware. All together, it MIGHT be more than $20, but you also have to factor in shipping costs and the time you have to wait for them to be shipped. Just a thought.

EDIT 3: Don't bother with Home Depot or Lowes. I've heard that they don't carry higher grade bolts. I don't know for sure because I try not to go there because they're stupid.
