Beautiful Front Lawn

This is what my front lawn currently looks like

my 4runner on the left my room mates 89 pickup on the right



(i've done some work on the 4runner since that pic)

thats one mighty fine lookin lawn you go there

the trucks really make that green pop out.

I wish i had an 89 p/u like that...

i also LOVE that pick up, humm a first gen ext. cab pick up. man i would love to have one. but then its would cost more than i can afford right now. oh well

ya the pickup's pretty nice...the 4runner's coming along though dont you worry


you're right to much grass not enough yotas lol

ya i really love the first gen look to

before i bought the 4runner i did a lot of looking around and research and i just really loved the look of the first gen.

wow, first time i've seen someone with an old smittybuilt bumper like mine (on your roomates pickup). I cut out the upper tube in the center section and welded in a base plate for my winch though, has worked beautifully for 15yrs.

I have never heard of a '89-'95 pickup or 4Runner being considered a 3rd Gen.

2nd Gen stops at '95, then 3rd Gen.

2nd Gen body style and guts doesn't change much until '95, so I don't see why in '89 one would consider them becoming 3rd Gens.

So you can't rationalize that the current pickups are a generation ahead of the 4runners?

Are you not counting the 1st gen pickups where there was no 4runner as a generation?
