I traced all (each) wires as far as I can see from the exhaust side. I thought that too on sensor #2

Unfortunately, it's really hard to "see" those electrons. Use a multimeter (you've no excuse to not have one: http://www.harborfreight.com/7-funct...ter-98025.html) to look for battery voltage (~12v) to ground on the Gr-B wire with key-on. You can use the ohmmeter function to check for continuity to ground on the brown wire, while you're at it.

As millball said, you did NOT get a code "... saying the heater is bad in the sensors." The code said there was an open in the circuit. Just replacing the sensor is a fair bet ... once. After the first replacement didn't work, you need to follow what the code is saying.

I have 12v and and a ground and I'm sure that I can't see electrons lol everything with sensor and wire is in spec I just didn't explain that in the post above . this is why I think the ecu is glitchy ? I can't remember the ohms # now ,but I do remember on sensor #2 that ohms was to the low end but in spec

the truck has been to the stealership and they charged me 400$ to tell me they didn't have a clue so I think I will rob the brains out a buddys truck and see what happens .... but the weird thing is that when you are driving under load and then back off the throttle the o2 voltage will jump up to mid to high 4 v which is a sign of a bad sensor ????
