aweful noise sounds like from tranny i dont know
Aweful noise when Clutch is Disengaged I just bought a my 89' about a month ago its my first t4r and my first 4x4. I had no sound at al from it all the way home and I even moved it around alot the first month without an issue. The noise happened after me feeling my way through the gears with the truck off. I was also going through the 4wd selector. my dad got in after that and i remember him pushing the Clutch start cancel button after two tries Clutch start cancel button after two tries because the battery was too low to start it. Then it started, and then making this aweful scraping noise. it kind of sounded like pigs squealing but more scraping than anything. It only happens when the clutch is Disengaged though. off the clutch and the noise stops, back on and its bad sounding. any suggestions. My dad said it sounded like it was just something that needed some adjustment.

The Clutch isn't that old at all and the truck was silent days before would the bearing just happen that sudden?? Wouldn't there be some warning at all??

Yes a cheap throughout bearing will/can just go up. I had a 92 and put a cheap clucth kit in it, the bearing was destroyed and made a horrible noise. You may be able to peak at the bearing through the clutch fork boot on the side of the tranny.

shouldnt the T-case just stay in neutral? I was goofing around with it while the car was off shortly before starting the truck and getting the noise but im pretty sure the t-case was in nuetral the whole way i drove it home. Does it have to be in like 2w-h or something? maybe i just goofed it out of gear?

Noise when the clutch is disengaged (pressed in) could be the throwout bearing. I know when I did mine I went with an OEM AISIN clutch kit. I'd start there.
